Another Memorable Season for the Boys Lacrosse team

The West Islip boys lacrosse team delivered another memorable season marked by offensive firepower, resilience and grit. The Lions stormed out of the gate, winning their first 10 games, and finished the season with an impressive 14 victories. Known for their high-scoring attack, the team tallied more than 240 goals on the year and consistently rose to the occasion in high-pressure moments. Highlights included a thrilling 10-9 victory over Comsewogue, a 17-16 victory over Sayville and a dramatic 12-11 win at East Islip. Each performance showcased the team’s ability to stay composed and execute when it mattered most. Thanks to their outstanding regular season play and continued success in the postseason, the Lions earned another appearance in the Section XI County championship, further cementing their place among Long Island’s premier lacrosse programs.
