In celebration of Valentine’s Day, third graders in Ms. Brush’s class at Oquenock Elementary School reflected on the theme of love through a special writing activity. Students were given the prompt, “What is love?” and responded with thoughtful and meaningful pieces describing the people, activities and moments that bring them joy and happiness.

The heartfelt writing showcased students’ creativity, emotional awareness and ability to express themselves through words. Their responses highlighted the many ways love can be shown, including family, friendship, kindness and the simple things that make each day special.
